Welcome and thanks for visiting this site! In the years of living with children with Reactive Attachment Disorder, I've learned so many things about a disorder that I knew nothing of...a disorder that not only affected my son, but, in many ways, took over our lives. I hope that you find the information contained in these pages helpful. You will find the story of our journey through RAD. I have left real names of people out of these pages to protect their identities. This has nothing to do with being ashamed of my child(ren), but rather affording them privacy in their lives. Thank you for understanding that. One of the most helpful things for me was to know that there were other families out there dealing with many of the same behaviors. I wasn't alone. I wasn't crazy. I'm not a terrible parent. Please join me at the RAD Kid forum. Come and meet others as we all travel this road of RAD! Over the years I've researched and found things on RAD over the internet, in books, etc. I've compiled lists and copied articles, etc. Over the years, I've lost info on where I got what. If you read something on this site that is authored by you, please contact me. I would like to leave things on the site with proper credit going to the author; however, if you wish it to be removed, I will understand that.
